Counterstatement to the TA-Newspaper Interview: "One should not underestimate Nicolas Blancho" PDF Print E-mail

Bern, 12th April 2010

By Nicolas Blancho (in a slightly abridged version of the TA newspaper of 10/04/2010)

Not to be overestimated are the statements of Alain Pichard, the primary school teacher, who as a red-green bird ventured into the political sky. Today, his once colorful splendor of plumage has faded gradually, it rather made room to monotonous tones clearly to the right  of his party line. Apparently inconstant ideologically, what about his statements about me? It seems very strange, if a person from the narrow and private circle of acquaintances willingly comments the development of a youth under the eyes of the public. Does it serve the political purpose? Is it mere opportunism? Maybe our last conversation overstrained him in content, for I could not see precise allegations in the interview.

As for the source of the city Biel, which is gladly quoted again and again, and which is by the way notorious, whose son was allegedly trained in an Egyptian terrorist camp, so one ought to think that the responsibility is more likely to be in the range of federal authorities than in those of an illustrious primary school teacher. The stated young Kurd with Alevi background did not enjoy also after his conversion to Islam particularly high reputation in the community in Biel. That is because it occurred to him to insult long-established community members and  also the Imam as non-believers and his behavior took on violent tendencies. His house ban is by the way still in vigour in the mosque of Biel until today because Muslims of Biel do not tolerate calls for violence and anarchy. Extremely defamatory is the misconception of Pichard that I represent anti-democratic, barbaric and violent ideas. These statements exceed the limit of the tolerable and without concrete examples they are just simple-minded and dogmatic like all other diffuse accusations. A seemingly red-green bird should actually sing a different song, but the beauty of a bird says nothing about the values for which he vouches.
