Berne, 23.02.2011 Urgent call Amnesty International calls for this evening at 6.00pm for a spontaneous demonstration (permitted by authorities) against the crimes of the Gadaffi regime. The violence of the regime in Tripoli shocked us deeply. A government that shoots with fighter planes and live ammunition at protesters has forfeited any legitimacy. The Islamic Central Council of Switzerland (ICCS) expresses its solidarity with the affected brothers and sisters in Libya, and supports the rally this evening.
