In an interview, Ghannouchi stressed the central role of justice in Islam. An Islamic system of justice is no worse in any case, just as every non-Islamic system. It was up to the new political forces in Tunisia to put this knowledge into practice. Blancho welcomes the strengthening of justice as a principle of governance in Tunisia highlighted through developing the use of the electoral system and thus placing confidence in the minds of the electorate.

A delegation of the ICCS, headed by Nicolas Blancho will remain in Tunisia throughout the 9th -11th November in Tunis to get a greater insight into the changing reality for people in the country. A number of meetings with high level representatives are  to take place with political, religious and civic organizations.
